Have you been dieting and exercising diligently, but haven’t been able to achieve the body contours you desire? If yes, and you are at or near your ideal weight, body sculpting may be the solution for you. But what is body sculpting?
What Is Body Sculpting
Body sculpting or body contouring is the term used to describe aesthetic procedures that remove stubborn pockets of fatand reshape the body. There are a variety of non-surgical body contouring technologies on the market that can sculpt the body over several sessions. CoolSculpting is one of the most popular forms of body sculpting.
CoolSculpting
CoolSculpting is a non-invasive body contouring treatment that uses the power of controlled cooling or cryolipolysis, to remove fat and sculpt the body. It is the ideal way to reduce diet-resistant fat from areas such as the abdomen, arms, inner and outer thighs, and flanks.
How Does CoolSculpting Work?
The fat freezing technology selectively targets the fat cells without harming the surrounding tissues. The cold temperatures freeze the fat cells until they crystallize and die. The targeted fat cells are naturally processed by the body in the weeks following treatment. This leads to slimmer body contours in the treated areas as there are fewer fat cells there.
Initial results can be seen about 4 weeks after treatment, but improvements may continue for up to 3 months.
Are There Any Risks
After CoolSculpting, patients may experience mild bruising, firmness, and redness near the treatment area, but these side-effects usually resolve within a few days.
